Frequently Asked Questions?
In mass production, the minimum order quantity (MOQ) defines the smallest number of glass bottles a manufacturer can produce at a set price. Due to the heavy industrial nature of glass factories, producing bottles in small batches is challenging. Typically, customers need to order at least 20,000 to 50,000 bottles. In Chinese glass bottle factories, the price is often linked to the quantity produced per run; the larger the order, the lower the price. The MOQ also depends on the size of the bottles. The smaller the capacity, the larger the MOQ required.
There are many types of decorative techniques that can further customize the design of bottles to make them unique and attractive. Decal technology is the most popular and widely used because it is a very economical way to produce logos on bottles. Partial or full frosting on the bottle is also a good choice, and you might also like transparent windows, embossing, and debossed logos, which are all commonly used..
The typical production cycle for an order is 20-25 days; however, during peak periods, it may take longer, generally 25-35 days or slightly more, We hope our customers will plan accordingly with their brand sales schedule and contact us at least three months in advance to discuss product design details and other aspects, as communication, adjustments, and shipping all require time. Thank you!
Glass itself does not contain lead or other harmful chemicals. Upon request, our company can conduct tests on the bottles at independent testing institutions to confirm this (SGS, TUV, Bureau Veritas).
Merfons ensures high-quality bottle output through a very stringent QC (Quality Control) process, with over five different inspection stages. These include raw material inspection, pre-production mold inspection, quality checks half an hour into production, cooling line inspection, pre-packaging inspection, and pre-shipment inspection. If you have specific inspection standards, we can develop a customized process based on your criteria. Additionally, we welcome customers to visit and inspect our glass factories in China before or during the production of their bottles.
